Facts

You are tasked with delivering a civil construction project valued at $150 million under the procurement category BCM. You have received pre-tender budget estimates as follows:

  • one contract is estimated to be worth $150,000 for the maintenance grading of the access roads to the site, but this contract is with the supplier who undertakes all the road maintenance for the agency, and will be done under the existing standing offer arrangement with that supplier;
  • one contract is estimated at $98million for the civil contractor (to be engaged under the BCM Managing Contractor Contract);
  • one contract is estimated at $1.7 million for the lead consultant (design, surveying and quantity surveying);
  • one contract is estimated at $97,000 for the pre-fabrication and delivery to site of a small gate-house at the entrance to the site;
  • one contract is estimated at $8,000 dollars for provision of office furniture for the gate house.
