Other Due Diligence
Other due diligence enquiries can also be made through third party sources to check the businesses regulatory history and workplace health and safety or industrial relations records. Examples of these enquiries include:
- Check litigation outcomes for prosecutions by the Fair Work Ombudsman under the Fair Work Act 2009 on their website.
- Workplace Health and Safety Queensland publishes information for prosecutions and enforceable undertakings in Queensland through the independent Office of the Work Health and Safety Prosecutor (OWHSP). Decisions can be searched on the OWHSP website.
- Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) Licence Search which confirms any directions to rectify issued, disciplinary action, demerit points, infringement notices and whether there has been a disqualification or ban for that licensee.
