Module 1 – Kick Off Copy

The purpose of this module is to provide insight that will assist you to understand the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment Act) 2017  “kick off” requirements from a very basic level.

After completing this module, you will be able to better:

• Identify an invalid Payment Claim.
• Create your own template Payment Schedule that works for your project and the Act.
• Attend to service of a Payment Schedule that does not risk non-compliance with the Act.
• Prepare your project well for the arrival of an Adjudication Application.
